This Privacy Policy applies to the X player - All Video Formats app (hereinafter referred to as the "Application") for mobile devices, developed by Ashu (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider"). This Application is provided as a free service and is intended for personal use.

1. User Data Transparency

We are committed to full transparency in how user data is handled.

  • The Application does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user data.

  • Data is used only for the purpose of enabling app functionality, and there is no tracking of user activity.

  • All third-party SDKs included, such as Google AdMob, comply with Google Play policies and do not sell personal or sensitive user data.

2. No Automatic Data Collection

The Application does not automatically collect or process any information from your device, including:

  • Device type and operating system version

  • Unique device identifiers (IMEI, SIM serial, Android ID, etc.)

  • IP address or network information

  • Browser type or usage data

No location tracking is performed.

3. Ads Disclosure (AdMob)

The Application uses Google AdMob to display ads.

  • AdMob may collect limited device or usage information to provide personalized or non-personalized ads.

  • This information is collected by Google, not by the Application or Service Provider.

  • Users can opt-out of personalized ads through device settings or the Google Ads Settings.

4. Personal and Sensitive User Data

Even though the Application does not collect personal or sensitive data, Google Play compliance requires that:

  • Any handling of personal/sensitive data (e.g., via AdMob) is secure, transmitted over HTTPS, and used only for app functionality or ad purposes.

  • No personal or sensitive user data is sold or shared outside of ad services.

5. App Set ID

The Application may access the App Set ID for analytics and fraud prevention purposes only.

  • It is not used for ad personalization.

  • It is not linked to personally identifiable information.

  • Users are informed about this via the privacy policy and in-app disclosures.

6. EU/UK/Swiss Data Privacy

If accessing or processing EU, UK, or Swiss personal information through AdMob:

  • We comply with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.

  • Data is processed only for the purposes consented to by users.

  • Appropriate technical and organizational measures are in place to protect against unauthorized access.


7. Local Streaming & Chromecast


  • When you cast, Xplayer runs a lightweight local media server on your phone to stream the selected video to your TV. This server:
  • Operates only while casting,
  • Is accessible only within your local network,
  • Does not upload content to the internet,
  • Does not retain or store copies of your content after playback ends.
  • Google Cast handles device discovery and playback on the TV. We do not receive or store your Cast account information.

8. Third‑Party Services

  • Google Cast: Used to connect to and control playback on cast‑enabled devices. Google may process device and session data per its policies.

  • We do not control third‑party data practices. Please review their policies.

9. Security

The Application does not require account creation, so no account deletion process is necessary.

This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in legal requirements, app functionality, or Google Play policy.

  • Updated policies will be posted on this page.

  • Continued use of the Application after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

12. User Consent

By using the Application, you consent to this Privacy Policy and to the limited data usage required by Google AdMob.

  • If you do not agree, please discontinue using the Application.
